After a visit the Boavista Circuit, Alvaro Parente is heading now to Nurburgring to another GP2 event, a circuit where is expects to be able to fight for the top positions during the weekend.

The Portguese driver visited the paddock of the WTCC event and was pleased with the affair, after understanding its importance for his hometown. “The circuit is very interesting, though it still has some space for improvements. It’s a great event that brings many people to Oporto and that’s really important. I think that we, the people from Oporto, should do everything in our reach to maintain this event for many years in our city”, said Alvaro Parente.

After the pleasure of the Boavista weekend, the Ocean Racing Technology young driver is already looking at Nurburgring, a circuit where he is confident of having a competitive singleseater, as it was possible to see in the last few races. “The German circuit is a bit different from Istambul and Silverstone, it requires a softer car. Nevertheless, I think that we can find a good set-up and be competitive during the weekend”, pointed the driver supported by Soccerade, Delta, TMN, Aurora Group, Geotur and Cision.

After four rounds, Alvaro Parente is looking forward for good results and he believes that at Nurburgring, with Ocean Racing Technology help, he can fight for the top positions, as he showed since the beginning of the season. “My goal is, more than ever, to be at the front. I think that we may be competitive and that we can achieve the kind of results that the pace that we have been showing deserves. At Nurburgring it’s not easy to overtake and that makes the qualifying even more important, but I think that we will have good arguments to get a good place in the grid”, underlined the twenty-four years old driver.
