Chris DymondTingewick based sports car ace Chris Dymond will miss this weekend’s Porsche Carrera Cup GB races at Oulton Park, Cheshire due to budgetary constraints.

Dymond, who currently sits 10th in the Carrera cup points standings, despite having already missed a round due to illness, will now focus on selected races for the remainder of the 2012 season.

“Of course it’s disappointing but owing to budgetary constraints in these difficult commercial times we’re having to review our programme for the year. As a consequence I’ll not race in the Carrera Cup rounds at Oulton Park in June. My focus now will be on selected events this year and aiming at a full programme with Parr in the Carrera Cup in 2013.”

Paul Robe Parr Motorsport principal commented “We want Chris back in the car as soon as possible; he showed real progress at Thruxton in difficult conditions. We understand his constraints and will continue to work with him to develop his position in the Carrera Cup.”
“I’d like to thank all my sponsors for the year so far, epically the Parr Business Partner Club for getting me to this point, I hope it’ll be only a temporary set back in my campaign and that we’ll be back fighting for podiums again at Croft.”

Dymond is now aiming to be back on track for rounds 9&10 of the Porsche Carrera cup GB championship at Croft, North Yorkshire over the weekend 23rd and 24th of June.
