Isaac Tutumlu13th place for the Spanish driver of Kurdish background during Sunday´s race of the Porsche Supercup, after some problems from unknown origin prevented him to give his best. Anyway he managed to finish into points positions.

Isaac Tutumlu has had a difficult race of the Porsche Supercup at Spa-Francorchamps, where the penultimate round of the season was held today. The FÖRCH Racing by Lukas Motorsport´s driver experienced problems with his car since the beginning and they got even worse at the end.

“We need to clarify what was going on with our car today. At very early stages, on lap one, I have begun to feel uncomfortable at the wheel of my Porsche, because its performance wasn´t good. We need to find out if it was a problem coming from set-up, chassis or suspension, but it was very hard to be quick under the circumstances”, Tutumlu explained afterwards. When the race was coming to an end, the problems increased “and my lap times were several seconds slower, and I was overtaken by some drivers previously passed by me. I insist the race was really difficult and, for instance, my fastest lap today was slower than that posted by me debuting in 2009 here”. Anyway his 13th final place was good enough to keep scoring points for the overall rankings, and “it´s our biggest achievement the whole weekend”.

With no chances to rest, Tutumlu is looking forward to his next commitment in the Porsche Supercup, which is scheduled at Monza next weekend. The Italian track is known by the young Spanish GT driver, and it´s going to be important “to fix our today´s problems, because we need to finish the season there in a good way”.
