Facundo RegaliaThe Argentine driver, who was the fastest driver on track during yesterday´s test sessions at Hungaroring, repeated his performance today at the wheel of his Campos Racing´s Dallara F312. With a best lap of 1:41.132 was absolutely unbeatable for his rivals.

Facu Regalia continued today his good sensations already exhibited yesterday at Hungaroring, where this weekend is hosted the 6th round of 2012 season for the European F3 Open. Regalia had a strong start in the morning and was able to set a best time of 1:41.132 putting him on top of the classification. That time remained as the fastest one all day long and his opponents couldn´t improve it neither FP2 nor FP3. On his side, Regalia was third in second free practice session and second in the third one.

“Our day was good, 1st in the morning and then 3rd in the afternoon beaten by a mere gap of three thousandths. We kept our good performance from yesterday and I feel happy with my car, because it’s being quite good. My engineer and I are working in a very good way, and of course everyone at Campos Racing too, and the results prove it”, Regalia explained. Argentina´s driver also said that “Raimondo, Dejonghe, Grenhagen and Schirò are really strong here, but it isn´t a surprise because they are my main rivals all the season. We will try to improve our car for Q1 and obviously the pole position is a target on our mind. It is very important to qualify well here because passing other cars it´s never an easy issue here. I´m really motivated for fighting for important objectives this weekend”.

The first qualifying session is scheduled at 10.35 (CET), with race one starting at 16.45 (CET) and consisting of seventeen laps. The race will be broadcasted live on www.f3open.tv.
