Bólido Racing, an experienced Madrid-based team, and Belgium´s SpeedLover have joined under the Team Icer Brakes banner to participate in the Hungarian race next weekend. The Porsche 997 Cup among the favorites for podium places, facing a large and international entry list.

The 12h Hungary race, a season opener for endurance races in Europe, is taking place at Hungaroring next weekend. Hungaroring, a very demanding circuit, will be a tough challenge lasting 12 hours. The entry list is going to have representation from Spain thanks to Bólido Racing. The Madrid-based team has joined Belgian SpeedLover, with a history of success in races like Spa 24 hours, and both squads are going to race under Team Icer Brakes banner.

The Spanish-Belgian team is planning to race a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup in the 12h Hungary, for sure a podium contender among several tens of GTs and touring cars participating in the race. Two drivers have been confirmed by Team Icer Brakes so far: Belgium´s Jean-Michel Gerome and France´s Philippe Richard, who have a reputation driving Porsche-built cars.

The timetable for the weekend begins on Friday, with a tight schedule consisting of private tests in the morning and then at 15.00 first practice session. Qualifying is scheduled at 16.45 and the day concludes with night practice session. The race starts on Saturday at 8.00 and its end twelve hours later.
