Chris DymondSports psychology specialists, AlphaSport Psychology have renewed their successful partnership with Chris Dymond.

Dymond started working with AlphaSport late in 2008, during Dymond’s first season in the FIA GT3 European championship and has enjoyed numerous successes during the partnership, including a class win in the Blancpain Endurance series and winning the 2010 Radical UK cup championship.

“I’ve always been fascinated with the power of the mind, when I was studying at university in Loughborough part of the course was sports psychology and I could see the benefits if applied to racing.

I’ve known Gavin and Phil a long, long time (since before I started racing actually). When Gavin founded AlphaSport we started working together using visualization and mind management exercises, I saw results straight away and haven’t looked back, and now use those skills daily”

As part of the renewed partnership AlphaSport branding will appear on Dymond’s visor strip throughout the 2013 season.

Gavin Gough- Founder of AlphaSport Psychology commented “Chris is a racer who understands the need for mind management skills and one with whom I have worked successfully in the past and I look forward to working with him again as his career goes forward to more wins”

In addition to working with individual drivers and riders AlphaSport Psychology has been part of the hugely successful Nissan GT Academy, working in partnership with Silverstone Circuit, Playstation and Nissan offering support to finalists and winners of the competition such as Lucas Ordonez and Jann Mardenborough.
